Chapter 10: Must Not Offend Master!

Released:

Chu Feng successfully completed the mission and claimed his reward. He took Bai Yuyan’s share as well.

Although Senior Sister Yuyan didn’t care about the reward and had given it all to him, Chu Feng, having received so much help from her, decided to hold onto her reward until later for now.

Now that he had obtained a spiritual root, Chu Feng could finally relax. From now on, splitting mountains and seas was no longer just a dream!

If possible, hehe, living a life with beauties in both arms…wouldn’t that be wonderful?

With that thought in mind, Chu Feng was filled with energy.

As he walked, he suddenly stopped and looked ahead to his right.

A crowd had gathered there, bustling with noise. It seemed like an argument had broken out. In an instant, Chu Feng’s inner gossip-lover was ignited. Let’s go check out the commotion!

***

Bang—

With a muffled sound, a figure was sent flying backward, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.

“Hah! As expected of a disciple chosen by the Moonlight Sword Fairy…impressive!”

The gaunt-faced man sized up Lin Ruo in front of him. Not long ago, he wouldn’t have dared to provoke someone like him. After all, Lin Ruo was a disciple personally chosen by the Moonlight Sword Fairy.

But now, he had received some interesting news: the Moonlight Sword Fairy seemed to have had a change of heart and even proposed to the Sect Master that this disciple be expelled.

Of course, the Sect Master couldn’t agree so easily. Accepting a disciple was no small matter. Especially in a prestigious sect like the Heaven’s Pinnacle Sect.

Lu Xiyue herself was the famous Moonlight Sword Fairy, and Lin Ruo’s talent was nothing to scoff at. He advised her to think it over carefully.

But Lu Xiyue stood firm in her decision. With no other choice, the Sect Master temporarily revoked Lin Ruo’s privileges as a personal disciple and summoned the elders for a meeting to discuss the matter.

The gaunt-faced man’s name was Ji Boxiao. He was at the early stage of Second Rank cultivation, one of the top talents among the new disciples, and had been favored by an elder. He had previously lost to Lin Ruo and had held a grudge ever since.

“Your qi is weak and unstable. Flashy but hollow. It’s an honor for you to be defeated by me.”

Lin Ruo was arrogant. Whether in speech or action, he carried absolute confidence. As if everything he did was unquestionably right.

“Heh, just as my younger brother said…you really are arrogant.”

A young man slowly stepped out from the crowd. It was Ji Bochang, Ji Boxiao’s older brother. He was at the late stage of Third Rank realm and was considered one of the top experts among the outer sect disciples.

Lin Ruo looked at Ji Bochang without a trace of fear in his eyes. He flicked the dust off his clothes and calmly said, “You’re just Third Rank. If you were Fourth, maybe I’d give you some respect. But unfortunately… you’re just Third.”

Hearing Lin Ruo’s words, the surrounding disciples all gasped in shock.

Just Third Rank? … Brother, you’re only First Rank! Beating a Second Rank opponent already makes you a genius. Do you seriously think you can take on someone at Third Rank?

“You brat! I hope your strength can back up that big mouth of yours!”

A fierce gleam flashed in Ji Bochang’s eyes.

“Of course. I have full confidence in my strength.”

Lin Ruo spoke with utter dominance, showing not a trace of fear.

Moments later, silence fell over the crowd.

“Hey! Slap me!”

Smack—

The sound of the slap rang out loud and clear.

“This isn’t a damn dream!”

The disciples couldn’t believe their eyes. A Third Rank cultivator had just lost to a First Rank. It was crazy.

What kind of madness is this!?

Chu Feng who was standing among the onlookers also witnessed Lin Ruo’s performance. Holy shit, this guy was like the Lü Bu of his generation….an absolute beast! Not even taking pills would make someone this fierce. Was he… cheating?

Chu Feng seriously began to suspect that Lin Ruo had secretly joined the Wind Spirit Moon Shadow Sect. If that were true, Chu Feng was prepared to shamelessly beg Lin Ruo for a referral.

(TN: Wind Spirit Moon Shadow Sect is just an over-the-top name. Doesn’t really exist.)

Before long, the crowd dispersed. But this explosive news would probably spread across the entire sect by nightfall.

The next morning, Chu Feng woke up bright and early. He’d had a great night’s sleep…until his communication jade slip transmitted a message.

His master had summoned him. It was time for her to guide qi into his body.

Chu Feng was dumbfounded when he heard the message. Master, could you at least tell me where to find you?!

Fortunately, to Chu Feng’s surprise, the jade slip actually had a map function!

Following the directions on the map, Chu Feng arrived at the location. A rich, delicate fragrance filled his nose. It was his master’s scent.

“Feng’er, come here.”

A captivating voice called out. Not far away sat Lu Xiyue, dressed in flowing white robes. One leg was crossed over the other, revealing the soft curve of her full thighs.

When pressed together, they looked like they could drip water. Further down, the curves of her body were nothing short of breathtaking.

Her slender waist was accentuated by a golden sash, leading up to a proudly upright and voluptuous figure. Her noble and beautiful face wore a gentle smile.

Chu Feng froze for a moment, then quickly came to his senses….this unbelievably beautiful woman was his master! He immediately forced out the stray thoughts from his mind.

I must show respect and uphold proper conduct!

“Yes, Master.”

Chu Feng obediently sat down in front of her.

Lu Xiyue reached out her fair hand and began to move it across Chu Feng’s body, pressing slightly as she went.

Is she checking my spiritual roots?

Chu Feng gritted his teeth and bore the pain.

But soon, something felt… off. His master’s hand was slowly inching closer to Little Chu Feng. At this rate, he was going to end up offending his master in a very real way!

“M-Master…”

Chu Feng stammered with a shaky voice.

“Don’t be afraid, Feng’er. I won’t harm you.”

Lu Xiyue looked completely unconcerned….but Chu Feng was very concerned!

Pa-dap…with a soft sound, Chu Feng grasped Lu Xiyue’s delicate hand. It felt amazing. It was soft and smooth, but Chu Feng wasn’t in the mood to appreciate it right now.

“Feng’er, I’m examining your aptitude. Don’t mess around.”

Lu Xiyue scolded playfully, trying to withdraw her hand. But Chu Feng was gripping it tightly, and she didn’t dare to use force. She was afraid of hurting him.

“Alright, alright. I’ll stop teasing you.”

She said at last.

Hearing this, Chu Feng finally let go and quickly bowed his head slightly.

Seeing his reaction, Lu Xiyue’s lips curled into a faint smile.

Looks like I still have quite the effect on him!

“Feng’er, do you know my title?”

“Yes, the Moonlight Sword Fairy.”

“And do you like swords, Feng’er?”

“I do!”

Chu Feng answered without hesitation. Come on, sword cultivators are cool as hell!

What man could resist the appeal of the sword? As a kid, he always picked up a decent wooden stick and made the canola flowers around him bow in surrender.

“In that case, come with me.”

Lu Xiyue stood up and gently gathered her flowing hair, then slowly walked ahead.

Chu Feng’s eyes followed the graceful sway of his master’s silhouette and his throat tightened.

Good grief, her figure is absolutely insane…

He quickly tore his gaze away, pretending to admire the scenery around him.

Better not even look. Otherwise, come tomorrow morning, my sheets will bear the mark of a dream gone too far.

Before long, Chu Feng arrived at a room. Inside stood a large wooden tub filled with a jade-green liquid with faint wisps of steam rising from its surface.

“Feng’er, undress and get in.”

Lu Xiyue said calmly.

Undress?!

Chu Feng froze. There was no way he could take his clothes off right now. There’d be no hiding his… enthusiasm.

“M-Master… I…”

His face flushed bright red. He had no idea how to respond. This was way too socially fatal.

“Alright, alright. I won’t look.”

Lu Xiyue turned her back to him. Of course she knew exactly what was going on with Feng’er. But that just made his shyness all the more cute~
