After saying that, Liu Shijing immediately regretted it. That brat was still right here!
By saying that, wasn’t she indirectly admitting that she didn’t dislike the brat?
Hearing her aunt’s words, Liu Xueyao didn’t press further. At the very least, her aunt didn’t dislike her husband now. She believed that, in time, her aunt would slowly fall in love with him just like she had.
Thinking this, the cool fairy said softly, “Xueyao will wait for Aunt. We’ll do it together.”
Faced with her niece’s blunt words, Liu Shijing’s fair, delicate face flushed with a captivating blush. Even in the night, her expression was clearly visible.
“H-How could an aunt and niece get married together? Aunt will just attend your wedding banquet first. As for me… my matters are my own.”
Even if she truly came to like that brat in the future, she couldn’t possibly marry him for real. An aunt and niece serving the same husband….she simply couldn’t accept that. She had already decided that being a secret lover would be enough.
Otherwise, if they really did marry him at the same time, then on their wedding night… wouldn’t she and Xueyao be together…
Just imagining that scene made the blush on Liu Shijing’s cheeks deepen even further.
However, Liu Xueyao reached out and took her aunt’s hand. But why was her aunt’s palm so sweaty?
“Aunt, together.”
Liu Shijing: “!!!”
When Xueyao’s hand clasped hers, Liu Shijing thought for a moment that Xueyao had discovered where that brat was hiding. But from her subsequent behavior, it was clear. Thankfully she hadn’t noticed.
“Don’t worry, Xueyao. I’ll think carefully about this matter.”
Right now, Liu Shijing only wanted Xueyao to leave quickly. The longer she stayed, the greater the chance of being discovered. So she could only go along with Xueyao’s words for the time being.
Hearing her aunt say that, Liu Xueyao felt a surge of happiness, and even a faint smile appeared on her face.
“Aunt, shall we head back together? It’s been a long time since the two of us slept together.”
Under normal circumstances, Liu Shijing would have agreed without hesitation. But now, her expression stiffened.
If she stood up, that brat under her skirt would be exposed right in front of Xueyao.
When Chu Feng heard the Holy Saintess’s words, his breathing also stalled. At this point, he could only pray that Senior would be able to smooth things over.
“Xueyao, you should head back first. I’d like to stay here alone for a while to think this through.”
After saying this, Liu Shijing secretly observed her niece’s reaction. Seeing Xueyao’s slightly furrowed brows, her heart leapt into her throat.
In the end, Liu Xueyao nodded. “Alright. Then Xueyao will wait for Aunt.”
“Mhm, you go back first. I’ll be back soon as well.”
Liu Shijing tried her best to keep her expression natural.
Liu Xueyao stood up, nodded toward her aunt, then turned into a streak of light and flew away.
Only after she could no longer sense Xueyao’s presence did Liu Shijing finally let out a breath of relief. Having Chu Feng’s warm breath brushing against her the whole time, she had long been on the verge of losing her composure.
She immediately lifted her green skirt, and the young man hurriedly crawled out, like a magic trick of someone appearing out of nowhere.
Chu Feng rubbed the tip of his nose, where a faint, unique fragrance still lingered.
“Senior, about tonight—”
“You brat, what happened tonight never happened. Understood?”
Liu Shijing declared firmly.
“Understood, understood. Even if you beat me to death, I won’t say a word.”
Chu Feng nodded repeatedly.
“Then hurry up and leave!”
Liu Shijing began urging him away.
Seeing this, Chu Feng immediately left. However, after taking a few steps, he suddenly stopped. Turning back to look at Liu Shijing, he said, “Senior, actually… whether it’s you or Sister Saintess, I like you both very much!”
After saying that, the young man flashed a bright smile.
Even in the darkness, with her seventh-rank cultivation, Liu Shijing could clearly see his smile. Her heart instantly began pounding.
The moment he finished speaking, Chu Feng quickly slipped away. Judging by the time, his master and Sister Wan’er were probably almost done fighting by now.
Even after Chu Feng’s figure completely disappeared, Liu Shijing remained standing there in a daze.
Suddenly, a voice sounded—
“Elder Liu.”
Liu Shijing’s body stiffened at once. Slowly, she turned around.
At some unknown time, a beautiful mature woman had appeared behind her. Various flowers were embroidered on the woman’s robes.
“V-Venerable Huahai… when did you get here?”
“When that young man crawled out from beneath your skirt.”
Venerable Huahai spoke calmly. She had not expected that she had merely come here for a walk, pondering the young man discussed at today’s meeting, only to see him crawl out from beneath Elder Liu’s skirt right before her eyes tonight, which left her slightly startled.
“Th-This, Venerable Huahai, it’s not what you think.”
“Elder Liu, I understand. I won’t spread it around.”
Although she said this, Venerable Huahai’s eyes were filled with amusement.
Seeing her expression, Liu Shijing knew that any further explanation would probably be taken as an excuse, so she simply offered a polite farewell and left.

By the time Chu Feng returned, the battle was already over, and it could be described as utterly fierce.
His master’s sash had fallen to the ground, the blush on her pretty face had yet to fade, and a large expanse of her fair skin was exposed. She lay prone on the bed, panting heavily, her eyes unfocused….anyone unaware might think she had been completely overwhelmed.
Sister Wan’er was in no better condition. Most of her strapless undergarment had slipped aside, revealing her fair, rounded shoulders to the air. She lay on her back on the bed, her long slender legs draped over the edge, her gaze identical to their master’s. It was proof of how intense the battle had been.
When they saw Feng’er (little husband) return, both women froze for a moment, then immediately sat up, their clothes instantly returning to their original state.
Of course, Chu Feng certainly wouldn’t ask who had won. Otherwise, it might very well spark another round of battle.
In the end, the two women exchanged a glance, then immediately looked away. With perfect tacit understanding, they propped Chu Feng up and brought him back to the bed. One on the left and one on the right, they held him in their arms and closed their eyes.
Chu Feng: “???”
What was this supposed to be? Now that he was back, was he just a human body pillow?
Though he was surrounded by women on both sides, it was still better than being surrounded by men.

Late at night, Zi Xiner sat alone, quietly reading a parenting guide. This was already the eighth volume. From ages one to ten, she intended to finish them all. Still, why did it stop at ten? Why wasn’t there more after that?
As she read, she would occasionally use a pen to jot down reflections in certain sections, leaving marks in the margins.
Buzz—
Space rippled as Venerable Huahai stepped inside.
“Huahai, coming to see me this late… is it about the little one from today?”
Without even lifting her head, Zi Xiner asked.
Venerable Huahai gave a slight nod, then recounted what had happened that evening before saying, “Holy Master, could it be that the final spot actually belongs to Elder Liu?”
Venerable Huahai recalled how, during today’s meeting, the Holy Master had occasionally glanced toward Elder Liu. Combined with what she had witnessed tonight, it led her to form this speculation.
Hearing this, Zi Xiner’s slender fingers paused as she was about to turn the page. She slowly closed the book, a faint smile curling at the corner of her lips.
“Well… who can really say? After all, the choice isn’t mine to make. It depends on whether the little one likes her.”
