36. Anonymous Defender

We had quite a tough battle, but we emerged victorious! Well done, everyone!

37. Anonymous Defender

Those monsters were really strong.

The monster players who joined in were also troublesome.

38. Anonymous Defender

>>37 Yeah, those monster players were sneaky.

There are a lot of them who won’t cooperate with humanity, I bet.

39. Anonymous Defender

>>38 Well, that’s to be expected. They’ve had it rough.

Actually, I was impressed when I found out about the secret event. It shows they’re trying to cater to various playstyles.

Oh, and even if I knew the monsters coming at us were players, I still sliced them up. Isn’t that obvious?

40. Anonymous Defender

The damage to Illeves was quite large, but it counts as a successful defense, I guess.

41. Anonymous Defender

It was fun getting to know people I had never interacted with before.

My friend list has more than doubled, lol!

42. Anonymous Defender

>>40 The defeat condition is that ‘more than half of the guardian towers are destroyed.’

Even though the main gate was breached, a part of the castle walls was demolished, numerous houses in the town were destroyed, and even though the temple deep within the city crumbles to nothingness! It’s still our victory!

43. Anonymous Defender

>>42 Well, when you put it that way, it’s a bit of a mess, lol.

I honestly can’t tell if we really won.

44. Anonymous Defender

>>42 There have been several thefts reported as well.

No doubt the work of those attacking monster players

45. Anonymous Defender

>>44 Who knows? Maybe there are some NPCs among us who decided to become thieves.

46. Anonymous Defender

>>42 Reconstruction is likely to take both time and money.

WSS also affects things like distribution and prices, so I don’t know what kind of impact it will have.

47. Anonymous Defender

The event got incredibly intense!

There were quite a few players on edge, though.

48. Anonymous Defender

Great job on the event, everyone!

49. Anonymous Defender

Well done.

50. Anonymous Defender

>>47 Exactly.

I couldn’t participate myself, but I heard the tension was sky-high. Did something happen?

51. Anonymous Defender

>>47 I had to skip it due to work. Was the atmosphere really that bad?

52. Anonymous Defender

>>47 It’s the phenomenon where you get absorbed by the atmosphere in the game, even though it’s just a game. It felt so real that it affected some of my party members, and I think I was somewhat influenced too.

This time it was a battlefield, so the tension was pretty high.

53. Anonymous Defender

Have you seen the event rewards?

There are ores that can be used to make elemental weapons, and they look pretty good.

54. Anonymous Defender

>>52 Well, when you’re thrown into a battlefield that’s almost as real as it gets, it’s understandable that the atmosphere gets charged with bloodthirst.

I wonder if I’m normal for not being affected by the atmosphere…

55. Anonymous Defender

>>53 I saw them.

Those rewards are seriously useful. You get enough ingots to make at least two weapons or pieces of armor.

56. Anonymous Defender

>>53 Yeah, they were selling those in Illeves, right? It was ridiculously expensive, though.

I wonder if the people who spent a fortune on them are regretting it now, lol.

57. Anonymous Defender

>>53 My friend who’s into crafting was over the moon about it.

Apparently, when you create something you’ve never made before, the experience points are really sweet.

58. Anonymous Defender

My stats suddenly shot up towards the end of the event, and I thought was it just my imagination?

It turns out it wasn’t just me; everyone around me experienced the same thing.

59. Anonymous Defender

The attributes of the ingots are random, but it seems like everyone got some ingots.

If you trade with your guild members or other acquaintances, you can gather enough materials to make two weapons with the desired attributes.

60. Anonymous Defender

>>58 The stat increase is the result of a ultimate technique used by the NPC knight commander.

61. Anonymous Defender

>>58 It seems like it’s the effect of the NPC using an ultimate technique.

I actually saw it being used in front of the main gate.

62. Anonymous Defender

>>60 Really? Do we know its name?

63. Anonymous Defender

Some people seem to be receiving fairly useful magical items as event rewards.

Maybe there was some kind of contribution-based system in the work?

64. Anonymous Defender

>>62 I was fighting on the nearby battlefield, so I heard it.

The knight commander shouted “Blessing of Grenelle.”

By the way, Grenelle is the name of the “Goddess of War and Victory”. You might already know, but I’m just adding that detail for everyone.

65. Anonymous Defender

It was right before the event ended, but there were some residents with a hostile demeanor running around and shouting.

Did something happen?

66. Anonymous Defender

>>64 Thanks for the info!

If we’re talking about an ultimate technique that boosts allies’ abilities, it seems like it could contribute to the party, but I’m not quite sure whether it’s the best choice to pick at the beginning.

Plus, it’s not even clear if players can learn it.

67. Anonymous Defender

>>63 There probably was something like that.

Even in my guild, there was a difference in rewards between those who dropped out midway and those who survived until the end. Those who performed exceptionally well got a bit more.

68. Anonymous Defender

>>63 They’re magical items, but there’s a bit of luck involved here.

You can get things like stoves and fans that can be used once you insert magic stones. But it’s like, “How are we supposed to use these in battles?”

69. Anonymous Defender

>>68 Lol!

70. Anonymous Defender

>>68 Loll!

71. Anonymous Defender

>>68 That’s too bad…

72. Anonymous Defender

>>68 I-If there’s a player who’s skilled in cooking, they might buy it from you?

As for the fans… maybe try reselling them to NPCs?

132. Yamada

Look at these tomatoes I harvested from my field!

Don’t they look delicious?

133. Noon Billy

I finally managed to turn a profit with my farm business.

It was a real struggle to get on the right track. I wonder if real-life farmers have an even tougher time?

134. Sweet

I envy those involved in animal husbandry; it’s difficult to start independently.

Isn’t the initial investment ridiculously high?

135. Firefly

As a cooking guild, we appreciate having access to high-quality ingredients.

We’ll pay a high price for new and rare ingredients if you can get your hands on them.

136. Hassan

>>135 Good job on the regular promotion.

137. Mr. Radish

It seems that plants grown in soil with too much powdered magic stone will transform into monsters. The rate of transformation varies for each plant.

For more details, ask the NPC farmers; they have practical knowledge of the transformation rates that prevent plants from becoming monsters.

138. Juri Etsuto

>>134 Animal husbandry is tough, too.

By the way, my fruit orchard project also requires a large amount of money (sweating).

139. Hassan

The live coverage of the war events is quite impressive.

I wonder if most of the users in this thread are not participating, except for maybe a few?

140. Tsurinosuke

Report! I successfully made contact with Lizardmen players during the event!

They’re willing to negotiate about fishing in the lake in the northern mountains! Aspiring fishermen and anglers, come gather!

141. Reel

>>140 Impressive!

142. Firefly

>>140 Please let us know if you come across any rare ingredients!

143. Hassan

>>140 Fishing spots were scarce, so this is great news!

144. Tsurinosuke

According to the Lizardmen players, it should be fine as long as we don’t overfish or attack the Lizardmen folk.

Those people don’t really understand why, but they say that the Lizardmen as a whole have a strangely high favorability for players.

145. Juri Etsuto

>>144 Maybe they were somehow indebted to some players in some way?

146. Sweet

Fish… Fish meals…

147. Tsurinosuke

>>146 Overfishing is a no-no, lol.

And isn’t magic stone fertilizer sufficient?

148. Yamada

>>147 Feeding magic stones to livestock makes them turn into monsters!

149. Tsurinosuke

>>148 Oh, I see now.
