The one greeting the four of us was Chika-chan, the cute girl with chestnut-colored hair who lived next door. She had a unique, mysterious vibe about her.
“Good morning, Chika! A successor to the same ‘chi’ as me.”
Perhaps due to both Chika-chan and Chiaki having the character “chi” in their names, Chiaki seemed to have taken an unusual liking to her. When Chika-chan returned the greeting to Chiaki, she suddenly stopped for some reason.

Chika-chan looked up above Chiaki’s head. What could she be observing that was even more endearing than Chiaki’s cute face?

Her eyes and mouth moved as if she were reading some characters seemingly placed above Chiaki’s head. Moreover, her delivery was rather robotic, giving off the impression that she probably wasn’t genuinely thinking anything Chuunibyou-like.
“Good morning, Chiharu-san.”
“Good morning, Chika-chan.”
After exchanging pleasantries, she cleared her throat and seemed to want to convey something in a somewhat aloof manner.
“By the way, how’s Kaito-san? He hasn’t been replying to my texts much, so I’ve been curious.”

“Chika, do you like Kaito?”

Chiaki was taken aback by Chika-chan’s words! She made a grimace.

“Wa, Haru-nee interjected all of a sudden.”
For me, Chifuyu with silver hair would be nice, but ultimately, I believe the current Chifuyu is the best. Because the current Chifuyu is the best.
“I-Is what Aki-nee said really true?” Chifuyu asked.
“It’s probably just Aki’s nonsense. You don’t need to worry about it.” Chinatsu said.
“If Natsu-nee says so, then I’ll believe it.”
Yeah, that’s probably the best course of action. The conversation with Chika-chan ended there. Afterward, during physical education class, while I was resting alone in the gymnasium, Chika-chan came over.
“All of Chiharu’s sisters are cute.”
“That’s right.”
“Yeah… but Chiharu is cute too.”
“Thanks.”
“You and your sisters are kind of like Kaito-san’s daughters, right?”
