Chapter 173: Annihilating the Sect

Published on

Today was the final day of the seven-day deadline Su Tiantian had given to the Devouring Heaven Sect, and they had shown no intention of handing over Li Jiuyue.

That meant it was time for her to make good on her words. If they failed to hand him over within seven days, she would ensure the Devouring Heaven Sect vanished completely from the cultivation world.

Inside the cave, the rabbit-eared girl and Xiao Qing stood respectfully to one side. At this moment, Chu Feng had gone out to search for food, so he was not present.

Su Tiantian played with a small wooden puppet in her hand. Over the past few days, she had carefully observed the little rascal and carved it herself, stroke by stroke.

To perfectly capture the proportions of his body, she had personally measured every inch of him during the nights these past few days, leaving no detail inaccurate.

“Little rascal, who is the most beautiful woman in this world?”

Su Tiantian asked the wooden puppet of Chu Feng.

“Of course, it’s Sister Tiantian!”

The puppet spoke in a voice identical to Chu Feng’s.

“Then, who does the little rascal like the most?”

Su Tiantian immediately followed up.

“Still Sister Tiantian! I like Sister Tiantian the most!”

The wooden puppet shook its tiny head as it spoke.

At once, Su Tiantian smiled radiantly, and the dim cave seemed to brighten slightly.

The rabbit-eared girl and Xiao Qing watched their Empress amusing herself and didn’t dare say a word.

They couldn’t help but wonder if their Empress had been fed some kind of bewitching soul pill by that human. Ever since meeting him, her personality had completely changed.

After all, when had their Empress ever been so intimate with the opposite sex? Not only hugging and clinging to him with all sorts of close contact, but she had even taken the initiative to kiss him. And when sleeping, she held onto that human without letting go.

If they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes, they would never have believed such a thing possible.

Only after Su Tiantian grew bored did she put away the wooden puppet.

“Your Majesty, today is the final day for the human faction. The Demon Kings are all prepared. They are only awaiting your command.”

Xiao Qing stepped forward and spoke softly. If the rabbit-eared girl served as a personal maid, then Xiao Qing was more like a personal secretary.

Matters concerning the Demon Empress herself were generally handled by the rabbit-eared girl, while affairs of the demon race were entrusted to Xiao Qing.

A cold glint flashed through Su Tiantian’s imposing eyes as she said icily, “How ungrateful. I gave them so much time, yet they treated my words like the wind.”

“Your Majesty, not long ago you promised that human you wouldn’t wipe them out completely. Should we deliberately leave them an escape route?”

Xiao Qing asked hesitantly.

“Leave them a way out?” Su Tiantian lifted her gaze toward Xiao Qing, her voice turning frigid. “No. Surround the Devouring Heaven Sect completely. As for not wiping them out… spare not a single demon within the sect. But as for the humans, leave none alive.”

Breaking promises and speaking one way while acting another….she had suffered plenty of deception from humans in her previous life.

Estimating the time, the little one would be back soon. Su Tiantian said to the two women, “First, have the Demon Kings surround the Devouring Heaven Sect, then immediately begin the assault. As for the rest, we’ll discuss it after I arrive.”

Xiao Qing said in surprise, “Your Majesty, if we attack directly, the losses will be severe.”

After all, the Devouring Heaven Sect was still a first-rate power, and it even had a half-dead ninth-rank ancestor within. A rash attack would only bring more harm than benefit.

“I know,” Su Tiantian replied calmly. “Xiao Qing, you only need to relay my words exactly as they are.”

Of course she knew this would result in heavy losses for the demon race—but that was precisely what she wanted.

The Demon Kings she had dispatched this time were all those who had betrayed her in her previous life. By forcing them into a deadly clash with the Devouring Heaven Sect, their strength would be greatly reduced. Ideally, a few of the five Demon Kings would even fall.

Not only would this destroy the Devouring Heaven Sect, but it would also reduce resistance when she moved to deal with those Demon Kings afterward—killing two birds with one stone.

Sensing Chu Feng’s presence drawing closer, Xiao Qing and the rabbit-eared girl tactfully slipped into the void.

With a casual wave of her hand, Su Tiantian sent a breeze through the cave, dispersing any scent that did not belong to her.

Her beautiful eyes turned toward the cave entrance. As the young man’s figure came into view, the cold, imposing aura around her swiftly faded.

Chu Feng stepped into the cave and saw a seductive figure seated atop a large rock. Her long, slender legs swayed lightly in the air, the hem of her skirt revealing glimpses beneath. Her thighs were full and smooth without losing their softness, and her hips, wrapped in black fabric, outlined a stunning curve and roundness.

Especially against the backdrop of her black clothing, her skin appeared even more snow-white and delicate, flawless in every way.

A faint smile seemed to linger in her soul-stealing eyes, brimming with charm and allure.

Even after spending these past days constantly by her side, Chu Feng still found himself utterly unable to resist such temptation.

Seeing Chu Feng, Su Tiantian stepped down from the large rock and knelt onto the fur blanket, lightly patting the spot beside her with her right hand. “Little rascal, come here first…come to this Empress.”

Chu Feng couldn’t figure out what Su Tiantian intended to do, but he still set the chicken in his hands aside and obediently walked over, kneeling beside her.

“Sister Tiantian, is something the matter?” Chu Feng asked.

“Mmm~ This Empress is planning to take you to kill a few people,” Su Tiantian said casually.

Chu Feng was startled. “Who are we going to kill?”

“Of course, the ones who ambushed us that day. Now that my injuries have mostly recovered, it’s time to settle the score. Mm… let them all go down and reflect properly,” Su Tiantian said in a calm tone, as if she were talking about something utterly ordinary.

All of them?

Chu Feng caught that terrifying word. “Sister Tiantian, you’re not planning to… wipe out the entire sect, are you…?”

He made a throat-slitting gesture.

“Very good, very good. The little rascal is finally starting to understand this Empress’s intentions.”

Su Tiantian reached out her delicate hand and kneaded Chu Feng’s cheek with a smile. Over the past few days, under her constant pinching, his cheeks had become noticeably rounder.

This is what she calls “killing a few people”?!

Chu Feng was stunned. This was the annihilation of an entire sect….at the very least thousands of people, and if it were a larger sect, it could be tens or even hundreds of thousands.

“Sister Tiantian, are we going alone?”

“Of course not. You’ll understand once we get there. After it’s dealt with, this Empress will allow you to freely choose whatever treasures you like.”

Could that include… female “treasures”?

At that point, he could give one a kiss and call her “treasure” and she’d reply, “You rascal” …how fun that would be.

Chu Feng didn’t dare say it out loud. He had a feeling that if he did, the first person to die today would be himself.

As if sensing his thoughts, Su Tiantian suddenly applied force with her fingers, making Chu Feng cry out in pain. She then sneered, “Little rascal, the ‘treasures’ this Empress speaks of do not include any of the opposite sex; not even demon ones. Understood?”

As she spoke, Chu Feng saw her slightly parted red lips reveal lengthening canine teeth, like a vampire’s. They were long and gleaming with a faint cold light.

“Understood! I get it! Don’t worry, Sister Tiantian!”

Chu Feng nodded obediently. Good heavens…how did Sister Tiantian know what he was just thinking?!

As for the answer… it lay in the demon core within his body that belonged to Su Tiantian.

With that, Su Tiantian had complete awareness of whatever thoughts were running through the little rascal’s mind.
