“Hahaha! What a misunderstanding! We’re all on the same side here. Come, little brother, have a drink.”
The figure hunched over and respectfully poured Chu Feng a cup of wine. At the same time, his eyes darted toward Su Tiantian every now and then. Only after seeing that she showed no displeasure did he finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Heaven and earth could bear witness to his innocence. His father had fallen to the demonic path, and because he was his son, he had been captured and thrown in here as well, serving as a “sparring partner” for the students of the Hundred Races Academy.
Normally, all he did was pretend to be some vicious, bloodthirsty villain, knock the students unconscious, and steal their storage bags.
Today, when the Demon-Suppressing Tower opened, he had eagerly gathered up his gear, preparing to make a big haul. Who would have thought that a single glare from this woman would nearly scare his soul out of his body? His instincts told him that this woman was even more terrifying than his father.
What was going on? Why would the Hundred Races Academy allow a powerful expert to accompany a student inside?!
Chu Feng stared at the demon before him. One moment, the fellow had looked utterly ferocious, and the next, he had instantly turned into a complete bootlicker.
The contrast was a little too much.
At the moment, he was inside a dilapidated city. Looking at the murky wine before him, which gave off waves of a foul, fishy stench, it was probably best not to drink this stuff.
“Forget it. I don’t really like drinking.”
Chu Feng politely declined.
The moment the figure heard this, he immediately took out some tea leaves and brewed him a cup.
“It’s fine if you don’t like wine. I have tea leaves too. I also have hundred-flower honey, water, and spirit fruits. What do you like, little brother?”
Chu Feng looked at the huge assortment of things laid out before him, all of them constantly giving off waves of that same foul, fishy stench.
Did all demons like this kind of flavor?
Chu Feng didn’t understand, but he was thoroughly shocked.
“I’m not really thirsty right now. By the way, where did you get all this stuff?”
He had taken a look around earlier, and aside from rocks, there was nothing but more rocks. Just like the gorge outside, there wasn’t the slightest sign of life anywhere.
“Oh, these? I took them from the storage bags of students who came in before. If you’re interested, little brother, I can give them all to you.”
The figure spoke generously. After all, he had no use for the spirit stones, talismans, or pills inside.
“No need. You can keep those storage bags.”
Chu Feng had barely finished speaking when the other party dumped out—
A massive pile of storage bags, nearly as tall as Chu Feng himself.
Good grief, just how many people had this guy robbed?!
“Then again, since you’re being so sincere, I suppose I can take a look.”
Right. He was only going to take a look.
Fifteen minutes later.
“Hahaha! Well then, I’ll call you Brother Hei from now on.”
Chu Feng grinned from ear to ear. He’d struck it rich! He’d struck it rich! He had gotten nearly a hundred thousand spirit stones from those storage bags alone. Holy crap, this was the first time he had ever seen so many spirit stones!
Unfortunately, most of the spirit stones had been contaminated by demonic qi. Otherwise, there would have been even more.
After dividing up the spoils, Chu Feng also learned that the demon’s true form was a black bear. In other words, a black bear spirit.
The last black bear spirit had been obsessed with robes. This one was obsessed with storage bags.
“You’re far too polite, little brother! Well then, I won’t see you off!”
As he spoke, the black bear spirit kept glancing at Su Tiantian, praying that this walking calamity would hurry up and leave. Whenever he got close to her, he could feel a suppression originating from the very depths of his bloodline.
“Hey, Brother Hei, no need to be so polite. If anything, I’m the one leaving without a proper farewell.”
Only after Chu Feng finished sorting through the spirit stones did he remember that he was still in the middle of a competition. He had already wasted so much time. If he didn’t make it in time, he wouldn’t get to see the Heavenly Dao Stele!
He immediately prepared to set off.
Chu Feng continued on his way.
However, along the way, every demon that saw him reacted as though they had encountered some terrifying existence, keeping as far away from him as possible.
It was only later that he realized this was all because of Sister Tiantian.
Of course. Sister Tiantian was the Empress of the Demon Race!
“Little rascal, what naughty thoughts are running through that head of yours?”
Su Tiantian leaned her red lips close to Chu Feng’s ear and whispered seductively.
Chu Feng immediately jumped in surprise and turned his head.
Smooch!
His cheek pressed straight against her soft, luscious lips, leaving behind a red lip print.
“N-Nothing.”
Chu Feng wiped his cheek, inwardly exclaiming that Sister Tiantian really was one dangerously seductive enchantress.
Every time Sister Tiantian finished teasing him, she always left him hanging, making him feel unbearably frustrated.
With Su Tiantian by his side, Chu Feng’s journey was completely unhindered.
He had thought things would continue this way all the way through, until he reached the eighth floor.
The moment he stepped onto the eighth floor, his surroundings suddenly changed, and he found himself inside a room draped in sheer curtains. Paintings hung all over the walls, but every last one of them was an erotic painting!
“Sister Tiantian.”
Chu Feng turned around, only to discover that Sister Tiantian had vanished!
“Hehe~ Young Master, Sister Tiantian is right here~”
A woman clad in sheer white gauze appeared before him. The fabric was translucent, with certain parts deliberately cut away to reveal her snow-white thighs and the rounded curves of her breasts.
The material was incredibly thin, especially around her chest, looking as though it might slip off with the slightest bounce as she walked.
The woman had long, alluring eyes, vivid red lips, and exquisitely seductive features. Every movement she made exuded temptation.
“Who are you?”
Chu Feng frowned and instinctively backed away. When had this woman appeared beside him?
He hadn’t sensed her presence at all.
“Hehe~”
The woman lightly tapped her fair, delicate foot against the wooden floor and gracefully floated over to Chu Feng.
“This humble woman is the Sister Tiantian you’ve been calling for, Young Master~”
As she spoke, a faint pink mist escaped her lips and wafted across Chu Feng’s face.
Hearing those words, goosebumps immediately rose all over Chu Feng’s body. He gripped the Human Emperor Sword and stared intently at the woman before him.
“Miss, I’m a very respectable man. You’ve got the wrong person.”
The woman choked for a moment. Looking at the bite marks and lip prints all over Chu Feng’s face, she inwardly scoffed. Respectable? Who was he trying to fool?!
She giggled coquettishly. “Young Master, this little woman happens to love doing indecent things with respectable men~”
The next instant, the woman vanished.
“!!!”
Chu Feng immediately swept his divine sense across his surroundings, only to discover that at some point, a massive snake tail had coiled around his waist, leaving him completely unable to move.
A snake!?
Could she be a snake demon?!
Sure enough, when the woman appeared again, her upper body was still human, but everything below her waist had transformed into the body of a snake, which was tightly coiled around Chu Feng.
Chu Feng tried to break free, only to find that the circulation of true qi within his body had been obstructed.
The woman’s serpentine tail remained wrapped around Chu Feng’s waist as she leaned her upper body closer. Lifting his chin with one finger, her long, alluring eyes radiated enchantment as she smiled. “Well? Would Young Master like to experience pleasure so intense you’ll feel as though you’ve ascended to heaven? This little woman will certainly do everything in her power to satisfy you~”
As far as the snake demon was concerned, with her bewitching mist combined with her charm technique, dealing with a little brat like this should have been effortless.
Chu Feng, however, could only think: Sorry, but your charms don’t hold a candle to Sister Tiantian’s.
In fact, faced with this woman, his heart was as still as calm water!
Seeing that Chu Feng was completely unaffected, the woman froze for a moment before breathing out an even denser cloud of pink mist. Yet Chu Feng remained utterly unmoved.
“You’re a demon? Why doesn’t my charm technique work on you!?”
The woman stared at him in astonishment.
Hearing her question, Chu Feng replied, “Miss, I’m a genuine human through and through. As for why your charm technique doesn’t work on me, doesn’t that just prove I really am a respectable man?”
What neither the human nor the demon knew was that all the pink mist Chu Feng inhaled had been absorbed by Su Tiantian’s demon core. Of course, what went in would eventually have to come back out.
As for when it would come back out… that depended entirely on Su Tiantian’s mood.
